HeRAMS Sudan health services across states January 2026

Overview

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention. 

HeRAMS has been deployed in  Sudan since June 2023. This report presents a series of infographics that provide a high-level overview of the operational status of 4809 health service delivery units (HSDUs) across Sudan, including the availability of health services and barriers to their provision. The results presented in this report are based on data reported up to 31 January 2026. While this HeRAMS deployment is ongoing and data verification and validation continue, the analysis presented here is not final and has been produced solely to inform operations.
